About the Role

Nomad Foods, a leading branded frozen food business, is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join its team. As a key member of the procurement team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing long-term sourcing strategies for fish species.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute advantaged long-term sourcing strategies to deliver sustainable improvements in cost, quality, service, and innovation.
  • Understand key cost drivers, industry trends, and standard methodologies to design and implement sourcing strategies for direct categories.
  • Develop and maintain long-term pricing mechanisms and relationship strategies for fish species to drive sustainable competitive advantage.
  • Secure direct supplies, ensure high-quality standards, on-time deliveries, and compliance with food safety regulations and CSR requirements.
  • Lead sourcing strategies for your category and demonstrate knowledge and expertise across the business.
  • Ensure productivity pipeline delivers +8% annual net productivity and align with function objectives.
  • Manage supplier performance and contract compliance, providing regular financial, service, and quality forecasts.
  • Work closely with Group and Local partners to develop strategies and implement breakthrough ideas to improve value for the business.
  • Develop and execute risk management strategies to reduce supply risk, currency exposure, and deliver CSR goals.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Finance, Business, Economics degree, Master preferred.
  • Excellent functional knowledge of procurement, category management, and sourcing processes.
  • Experience in implementing procurement standard methodologies in a global environment.
