**Job Opportunity: SEN Tutor (Secondary Specialist)**

**About the Role**

Prospero Teaching is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN Tutor to deliver 1:1 tuition to a young person with complex special educational needs (SEN) in a supportive and inclusive environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to bridge gaps in the pupil's education and enhance attainment levels
  • Work collaboratively with the pupil to build their confidence and develop a growth mindset
  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor progress and adjust the curriculum as needed

**Requirements**

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications
  • Proven experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and developing tailored lesson plans
  • UK classroom teaching experience and ability to work with challenging behaviour and disengaged pupils

**Contract Details**

  • Location: Dorset
  • Position: SEN Tutor (Secondary Specialist)
  • Hours: 7.5 hours per week
  • Contract Type: Temporary/part-time
  • Pay Rate: from £25 per hour
