Job Description

Zodiac Maritime is a leading international ship operating company providing comprehensive management services for a diverse fleet of commercial vessels. Our portfolio spans containerships, tankers, bulk carriers, and PCTCs, with a growing orderbook focused on dual-fuel vessels to enhance fleet energy efficiency.

Headquartered in London, our modern offices accommodate a growing team of over 200 people. With representative offices across Europe and Asia, our shore-based headcount expands as our fleet diversifies, accompanied by a dedicated crew of over 6,500 seafarers.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chartering Manager to join our chartering department. The ideal candidate will have a broad and in-depth knowledge of shipping, with a strategic mindset, commercial aptitude, and economic principles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all time and voyage chartering activities to achieve the most profitable and efficient employment of the fleet. They will leverage market analysis and insights to proactively seek out opportunities to create commercial advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all time and voyage chartering activities to achieve the most profitable and efficient employment of the fleet
  • Leveraging market analysis and insights, proactively seeking out opportunities to create commercial advantage
  • Reporting market developments to and strategizing with Executive Management team to optimize commercial strategy
  • Ensuring executive management have up-to-date visibility of all vessels chartered and unfixed, daily position listings, freight market information, market trends, and analysis
Requirements
  • Successful background and demonstrated experience in shipping (Chartering and Operations)
  • Established relationships and network within the Container market segments
