Job Title: Graduate Learning Support

Academics Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Learning Support to join our team at a Wantage-based Primary school.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Graduate Learning Support to work with KS1/KS2 students, providing support and supervision to enhance their learning progression. The successful candidate will work closely with the KS1/KS2 class teacher to offer 1:1 teaching and support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor the learning progression of KS1/KS2 students
  • Identify areas of weakness and implement strategies to overcome challenges
  • Work with the KS1/KS2 class teacher to provide 1:1 teaching and support to students with SEN
  • Assist with the general pastoral care of KS1/KS2 SEN students
  • Promote positive values, attitudes, and good pupil behaviour
  • Encourage the inclusion of all students in the life and activities of the school
  • Support the KS1/KS2 teacher with monitoring progress and planning learning activities

Requirements:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree (2:2 or above)
  • Experience working with KS1/KS2 children or in an educational setting
  • Ability to provide general class support and SEN support in small groups or 1:1
