Job Title: Electronics Design Engineer

Location: Warton, Lancashire

Salary: £41,361+ depending on skills and experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems. As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic products for the military aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic products, including ground-based and airborne equipment.
  • Develop analogue and digital circuit designs.
  • Generate circuit schematics and design, test, and validation documentation.
  • Report to Group Leader on project progress and deliver projects to budget and schedule constraints.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Previous experience in Electronic/Electrical Design and producing electronic products in an Engineering environment.
  • Designing for EMC and Low Voltage Directive.
  • Product testing, commissioning, and fault finding.
  • Experience with Circuit/Schematic Capture, Circuit Simulation, and PCB Layout.
  • Working knowledge of Xilinx CPLD's and FPGA's.

Desirable:

  • Appreciation of National Instruments (NI) LabVIEW.
  • Designing for DO-254 and ATEX.
