Project Management Lead

A leading infrastructure and utilities company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join their strategic procurement function. With a focus on delivering high-quality projects that support the UK's net zero goals, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the company's growth and investment strategy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading project management activities across Real Estate, Facilities Management, and CAPEX, ensuring timely project completion, quality, and value for money. This will involve utilizing strong project management acumen, continuous improvement, risk management, budget, and resource management to deliver business-critical projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement detailed project plans, ensuring adherence to established timelines and project scope.
- Manage project budgets, including cost estimations and tracking of expenses, to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
- Collaborate with internal teams and manage external stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Ensure projects comply with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Develop a robust network of contractors and suppliers to support project delivery.
- Strong project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering projects within budget and on time.
- Knowledge of property and capex projects regulations, codes, and standards.
- Negotiation, risk management, compliance, and contract management experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with effective stakeholder management acumen.
- Understanding of the development cycle, including business case, design, consents, procurement, delivery, handover, and project management.
