About the RoleThis is a full-time, permanent position working a 4-day week with 1:6 weekends. You will be part of a 3-vet team led by our Branch Partner and Certificate Holder in Small Animal Medicine. Our practice is well-established in the heart of London, offering a great opportunity to continue your career with plenty of support to develop your nursing experience.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional patient care and provide outstanding service to clients
- Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post-procedure activity
- Carry out nurse-led appointments and schedule 3 activities
- Deliver patient monitoring and care
- Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team
- Complete patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care
- Dispense and check medication
- Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards
- Hold briefings to engage and coordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice
- RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse
- Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care
- Experienced in working effectively as part of a team
- Experience of supporting nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency
- Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague
