Private Client Solicitor Job Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our established Haverhill, Suffolk office.

The firm provides a wide range of services, including wills, trusts, probate, court of protection/deputyship, and estate-related matters, including tax planning.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate excellent technical ability and knowledge of private client areas of expertise, as well as experience dealing with high-net-worth clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To undertake fee-earning work, working both independently and as a member of the team, and provide a profitable contribution to the department's work.
  • To maintain existing relations with the firm's clients and be active in business development, gaining new clients and growing their caseload.
  • Conduct of private client and related matters on behalf of clients.
  • Drafting of Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and dealing with Trust and Estate Administration.
  • To achieve personal and team targets, audit, and quality requirements.
  • Financial control of their own matters, with regard to cash flow through collection of monies on account and billing procedures.
  • Assist with the development of the Private Client department in Salisbury.
  • Excellent IT skills are required.
  • Ability to prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong team player with excellent attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years PQE.
  • First-class technical knowledge and understanding of private client matters.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on great client service.
  • An organised, team player with excellent attention to detail.
