About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Care Specialist to join our team at Majesticare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents, working closely with them, their families, and other caregivers to ensure the highest standards of professional, person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement high-quality, tailored care plans that promote choice, independence, and dignity for each resident.
- Provide safe and effective medication management, adhering to NMC guidelines and Majesticare policies.
- Supervise and support a team of caregivers, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents.
- Collaborate with the Home Manager/Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead to oversee the day-to-day running of the home.
- Ensure the provision of personal nursing care is consistently delivered to all residents.
Requirements
- RGN/RMN Qualified with an active NMC Pin (Essential)
- Experience in individual care planning and using assessment tools is preferred but not essential.
- A sound understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty and the implementation of this.
- Previous experience in assessing resident needs is desirable.
- Proven ability in Audit management (preferred)
- A natural people person with the ability to build strong, compassionate relationships with residents, families, and team members.
