Position: Personal Support Assistant for a Teenager with Special Needs

We are seeking a compassionate and understanding individual to serve as a Personal Support Assistant for a 14-year-old teenager diagnosed with autism, ADHD, and cognitive challenges. In this position, you will engage with the teenager during community outings, provide necessary transportation support, and prioritize his safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany the teenager during social engagements and community activities
  • Ensure his safety and offer comfort when required
  • Maintain supervision of the teenager consistently with a supportive approach
  • Encourage positive behavior and facilitate social interactions
  • Apply distraction techniques as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Commitment to confidentiality and respect for individual privacy
  • Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders and related conditions
  • Availability to work during evenings and weekends
