About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scientific Coordinator to join our Waste Water Sampling team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our water sampling processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and guidance to the sampling team, ensuring that all sampling procedures are followed accurately and efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with UKAS accreditation and ISO 17025 and ISO 14001 certification.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring that our sampling procedures are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure that the team is meeting quality targets and provide feedback and coaching to team members as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders, providing technical expertise and support as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in water sampling and quality control, with a strong understanding of UKAS accreditation and ISO 17025 and ISO 14001 certification.
  • Excellent technical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide clear and concise recommendations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Full, clean driving license and ability to travel regularly.
