Job Title: Head of Commercial Project Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Commercial Project Management to join our team at Jenrick Engineering. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process for heavy-duty diesel engine projects, ensuring timely delivery of parts and services, and providing technical and commercial support to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Procurement Management: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality parts and services.
  • Technical and Commercial Expertise: Provide technical and commercial support to ensure that all project specifications and requirements are met, and that cost-effectiveness is balanced with quality.
  • Budget Management: Develop, manage, and oversee project budgets to ensure that all financial resources are allocated effectively and projects are delivered within budget constraints.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related stakeholders, including suppliers, engineers, and upper management, to ensure that all parties are aligned on project goals and deliverables.
  • On-Site Project Oversight: Provide on-site management and oversight for projects involving heavy-duty diesel engines to ensure that all activities are carried out according to plan and that any issues are quickly resolved.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all projects comply with relevant industry regulations and standards, particularly in relation to environmental and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Technical and commercial acumen, particularly in diesel engine technology.
  • Proficiency in budget management and financial oversight.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
