Fire and Security Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain security systems in your assigned area, ensuring they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Respond to service calls on all types of security systems, adhering to current standards and customer requirements.
  • Plan and respond to routine and reactive call visits in your area, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers when planning site visits, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Maintain your stock levels with support from the Stores team, ensuring you have the necessary materials to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Attend training sessions as and when required, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Attend Engineering team meetings as and when required, contributing to the development of our team and services.
  • Identify any personal training and development needs to help you provide the best possible customer service.
Systems Used:
  • Intruder systems: Galaxy, Texecom, Aritech
  • CCTV systems: Hikvision, Axis, and generic Analogue Systems
  • Access Control systems: Paxton, BPT, ACT
Requirements:
  • Technical background in the electrical/electronic industry
  • Good all-round knowledge of security systems
  • Experience of front-line customer contact preferred
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Professional and presentable at all times
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service
