Aerospace Project Director Job Description

We are seeking an innovative and forward-thinking Mechanical & Electrical specialist to join our team in London. The role involves overseeing multiple projects concurrently across the capital, with a focus on M&E projects up to £30m.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Proactive management of Health & Safety
  2. Planning, managing, executing, and controlling projects
  3. Sole responsibility for budget, programme, quality, supplier, and subcontractor management
  4. Participate in bid/tender processes
  5. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients
  6. Full man management responsibilities
Requirements:
  1. Degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or building services.
  2. 5+ years' experience as an M&E Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Project Director
  3. Experience within the district heating sector (or similar).
  4. Excellent knowledge (and related delivery experience) of the assembly and installation of mechanical and electrical systems such as heat pumps, heat exchangers, piping, and HVAC components in plantrooms and similar environments.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office suite, in particular MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Project.
  6. Strong verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
  7. CSCS Card
  8. SMSTS
  9. Full UK driving licence.
