Site Construction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team at Matchtech. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects, specifically highway constructions.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and oversee the direction of the project, ensuring that client specifications and requirements are met.
- Review progress and liaise with quantity surveyors to monitor costs.
- Coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors.
- Select tools and materials and make safety inspections.
- Provide technical advice and solve problems onsite.
- Ensure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety.
- Assess and minimise risk.
- Document and report on progress to stakeholders and clients.
- Significant understanding of site engineering tasks and responsibilities, particularly within highways.
- Capacity to interpret construction-related drawings and designs proficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide quick and effective solutions.
- Robust knowledge of construction processes, along with health and safety regulations specific to highways.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
