Who we are looking for
We seek a proactive leader with extensive experience in managing complex warehouse operations. Your background may stem from any customer-centric sector, including Retail, Logistics, or General Merchandise, with a strong grasp of transport management within a warehouse setting.
You understand the daily challenges of this role and possess the resilience to maintain composure under pressure. Your leadership will guide your team through demanding situations while upholding high standards of service. You will be adept at multitasking, knowing when to engage directly with your team and when to delegate responsibilities to ensure operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
As the primary leader of the Local Fulfilment Centre, you will oversee a large team, ensuring adherence to our stringent operational processes and delivering outstanding customer service. Your performance metrics will center around customer satisfaction, guiding your decisions to enhance service delivery.
Daily, you will facilitate communication and collaboration between the business and your diverse team, ensuring timely and accurate product delivery. You will be responsible for briefing drivers on service expectations and managing shifting priorities to optimize productivity.
Your role will also involve coaching and developing your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational processes.
