We are seeking a Resource and Project Coordinator to become a vital member of the People Capability team within the Future Infrastructure Programme.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Resource and Project Coordinator, you will collaborate with designated projects within our extensive portfolio, providing comprehensive support on resourcing strategies to align with our organizational objectives and future needs.
Your role will involve:
- Leading the development and implementation of innovative solutions to address project-specific resourcing challenges.
- Facilitating recruitment efforts through various supplying functions and exploring a full spectrum of resourcing options, including future skills enhancement and leveraging our delivery partnerships.
In your capacity as part of the People Capability team, you will be accountable for:
- Grasping and articulating the complete resource landscape for your assigned projects.
- Supporting projects in accordance with company protocols, delivering insightful data analysis, and engaging in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitoring progress against our overarching people strategy.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A robust background in recruitment or resource management, coupled with experience in strategic workforce planning.
- Proven strategic resource management or workforce planning experience, or substantial recruitment experience in a relevant sector with the ability to think strategically.
Key skills required for this role include:
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities, as this position necessitates collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical skills to interpret and present people and/or financial data effectively.
- Experience in a matrix organization and/or collaboration with delivery partners.
- Project management experience or support experience in project, programme, or portfolio management.
- Experience in a people-centric role, particularly in talent management and succession planning.
- Proficiency in IT, including MS Office and PowerBI.
- Experience in supply and demand/business planning.
Your role will also involve:
- Partnering with individual projects/programmes to identify resourcing challenges, devise innovative solutions, and implement resourcing strategies aligned with functional and programme workforce plans.
- Ensuring a consistent focus on recruitment across all projects, identifying and driving innovative solutions and external opportunities while collaborating with functional and programme resource planning.
- Maintaining clarity of the complete workforce position, data, and organizational structure, encompassing both internal staff/contractors and external delivery partners/suppliers.
Additionally, you will be responsible for:
- Facilitating cross-project performance and talent management in accordance with company processes and project requirements.
- Identifying project/programme vulnerabilities, developing strategies and plans, and managing mitigations to minimize risks.
- Delivering people capability and data reporting/business rhythm.
- Collaborating with all functions to establish service level agreements (SLAs) that meet project needs and setting key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess functional workforce delivery performance.
