Job Summary:

The CHM-1 is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stewardship and Philanthropy Officer to join our team. As a key member of our development department, you will be responsible for ensuring that philanthropic donors feel valued and informed of the impact of their giving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to cultivate and steward major donors and prospects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, alumni, and other stakeholders to advance the College's mission.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the College to identify and pursue new funding opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to donors, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices in development and stewardship, attending training and professional development opportunities as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative, public-facing role, preferably in a development or fundraising context.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and a friendly, empathetic nature.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with donors and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
