Job Description:
The Night Manager is responsible for the safety and security of our guests and the smooth operation of the site outside of key trading hours. This includes conducting night auditing procedures, ensuring health and safety standards, and providing effective shift handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct night auditing procedures, including routine fire, health and safety, security, and compliance checks
- Ensure the breakfast service pre-shift checks and duties have been completed
- Complete cleaning duties and rotas throughout the property
- Evacuate the property in the event of a fire alarm activation and follow company procedure to manage the event until support arrives on site
- Work with the Management Team to ensure that the property is safe and operating within the legal requirements
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for the hospitality industry, with experience in hospitality management
- An ability to balance health, safety, and security requirements with service and standards delivery and guest expectations
- Strong interpersonal skills for diplomatically handling staff and customers
- Structured and organised with strong planning skills, and problem-solving ability, to resolve issues as they arise
- To be fully conversant with property fire management procedures
