About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our accounting and audit team, you will be responsible for providing support in the full audit cycle, from planning to presentation of reports to a diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the audit manager in the planning, execution, and presentation of audits
  • Manage and review the work of junior audit staff
  • Conduct accounts work for our client base
  • Manage your own time and support the wider team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in the full audit cycle within a practice environment. AAT/ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent is desirable. Excellent organisational and time management skills are essential, as well as the ability to work as part of a team and lead and manage people.

What We Offer

In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £36,000 and £42,000 dependent on experience. We offer hybrid working options, a 1pm finish on a Friday, and a 37 1/2 hour working week. You will also have access to a study support package and a company-wide benefits package, including holidays and pension contributions.
