About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Test Engineer to join our team at phs Compliance. As a PAT Tester, you will be responsible for traveling to customer sites to carry out Portable Appliance testing, ensuring that a professional service is delivered in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to customer sites to conduct Portable Appliance testing
  • Complete tests on portable appliances within customer premises
  • Produce daily results that meet client and external accrediting body requirements
  • Represent phs Compliance, providing excellent customer service and being the face of the company
  • Ensure a safe and timely service delivery on client sites, often working outside core hours
Requirements
  • Full UK manual driving license for at least 12 months, with a maximum of 6 points
  • Flexibility to work outside core 9-5 hours and 8 hours on site
  • C&G 2377 qualification preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
  • Ability to spend long periods completing manual work
  • Adaptability to different environments and customers on a daily basis
  • Basic IT, numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
  • Desire to pursue a career in the electrical industry
