We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team in Doncaster. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our manufacturing operations and ensuring the smooth running of our production processes.

Your Responsibilities
  • Carry out day-to-day maintenance activities, ensuring optimal machine availability and performance.
  • Conduct proactive work, including preventative maintenance programs (PPM) and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Effectively diagnose and resolve technical faults through analytical problem-solving.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new working methods and actively participate in ongoing process optimization efforts.
  • Support project work within the engineering department, contributing to the successful completion of site projects.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and monitoring systems.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety standards and regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Implement and uphold best practices for workplace organization within the engineering department.
  • Mentor apprentices within the Maintenance department, sharing your expertise and guiding their development.
  • Participate in relevant meetings, including daily engineering steering sessions, weekly root cause analysis (RCA) reviews, and other departmental gatherings.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced engineer with a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence. You possess a proven track record in maintenance and repair activities within a manufacturing environment. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

You have a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Your analytical skills enable you to effectively diagnose and resolve technical issues. Furthermore, your dedication to continuous improvement drives you to seek out innovative solutions and optimize processes.
