Group Financial Reporting Specialist

Department: Finance

Location: Head Office

Role Overview: This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled accountant to join the JD Group finance team. The Group Financial Reporting Specialist will be responsible for managing the group audit process and preparing technical accounting papers for external reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong IFRS knowledge, Big 4 training, and experience in a listed plc environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the group audit process to ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare technical accounting papers for external reporting, including financial statements and notes
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Strong IFRS knowledge and experience in a listed plc environment
  • Big 4 trained (2-4 years PQE)
  • Technical accounting paper preparation experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
