Job Title: PE Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join our team at a reputable secondary school in North London. The successful candidate will have a passion for sports and education, with the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons to students of all abilities.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a PE Teacher to work in a forward-thinking department with a strong focus on sports and physical education. The school has a range of excellent facilities and a dedicated team of staff who are committed to providing the best possible education for their students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach PE to students of all abilities, including Key Stage 4
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed
  • Contribute to the development of the school's PE department, including curriculum planning and resource development
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities and sports teams, as required
Person Specification:

We are looking for a PE Teacher who has:

  • A recognised teaching qualification, including QTS (or an equivalent overseas qualification)
  • Experience of teaching PE to students of all abilities, including Key Stage 4
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff and parents
  • A passion for sports and physical education, with the ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
