Junior Management Accountant

Position Overview:
A reputable client is seeking a Junior Management Accountant to become a vital part of their finance team. This role is a fixed-term contract with a structured work schedule from Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The compensation for this position ranges from £28,000 to £33,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including but not limited to:
- Overseeing the Credit Control process to ensure timely payments.
- Conducting reconciliations for both Purchase and Sales Ledgers.
- Engaging with suppliers and clients to address and resolve any queries.
- Allocating bank transactions and receipts that lack corresponding invoices.
- Performing bank reconciliations.
- Assisting in the preparation of Management Accounts.
- Providing support and guidance to apprentice accounting staff.
- Managing correspondence via email and phone.
- Assisting with various accounting tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
To be considered for this Junior Management Accountant role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- AAT qualification or higher; candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
- Familiarity with Netsuite is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Demonstrated experience in Management Accounts and Credit Control.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong numerical aptitude.
- Excellent communication abilities.
