Job Title: Property Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Property Maintenance Operative to join our dynamic team at our Tilbury facility. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance Tasks: Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including light bulb replacement, painting and decorating, basic plumbing and joinery, PAT testing, door and roller shutter repairs, furniture assembly and relocation, and reactive and planned maintenance.
  • Contractor Coordination: Coordinate external contractors for specialized tasks.
  • Online Systems: Utilize online maintenance systems and dynamic risk assessments.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Yard Waste Management: Manage yard waste.
  • MEWP Operations: Work safely at heights and operate MEWP equipment.
Requirements:
  • Basic Mechanical and Electrical Knowledge: Possess basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Positive Attitude: Display a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Driving Ability: Must be able to drive.
