We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at First Bus Engineering. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair vehicle faults, including electrical and mechanical issues
- Perform routine vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Attend on-road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries
- Conduct vehicle road testing to identify specific defects
- Minimum Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent qualification as a mechanic
- Experience working on HG, bus, or coach vehicles
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and mid-week shifts
- Valid UK driver's license and ability to obtain PCV license (we will support you in obtaining this)
