We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at The British Academy of Audiology. As an Audiologist, you will play a crucial role in providing expert care to adults with complex hearing needs.
Main Responsibilities- Provide sensitive advice to patients regarding their auditory status, working closely with healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Develop and implement interventions and rehabilitation programs based on autonomous clinical opinion, utilizing advanced knowledge of adult audiology.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care, presenting data and insights to inform clinical decision-making.
- Conduct daily equipment calibration checks to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or Master's degree in Audiology.
- Proficiency in British Sign Language (BSL) at stage 2 level.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in adult rehabilitation, with a strong understanding of audiological assessment and rehabilitation techniques.
- Ability to select optimal hearing aid solutions and programming algorithms for complex clinical conditions.
- Proficiency in using advanced software for hearing aid programming and patient data collection.
This role requires a submission for Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
