Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Stafford/Hybrid 3 Days on Site

Type: Contract

Contract Duration: 1 Year

Salary: Circa £580 per day - Umbrella

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer to lead a HVDC project with a leading renewable energy company.

You will be responsible for providing support to the project team by producing or subcontracting the following activities:

  • Participate in Safety reviews
  • Produce SLD & KLD
  • Verify P&C Schemes from suppliers
  • Interface with internal & external P&C suppliers
  • Verify Structure Designs
  • Collaborate in project team
  • Verify back office designs

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of National Grid specification
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in HV Substation design
