Job Description

**Job Title:** Quality Assurance Manager

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Skills People Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our training programs and services, and will work closely with our team to develop and implement innovative learning strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Work closely with our quality team to develop and implement an innovative and exciting learning strategy for all learners and delivery front-line staff.
  • Provide direct management support to managers across our academies.
  • Take leadership for strategic overview and implementation of teaching, learning, and assessment across the business.
  • Support the strategic overview and implementation of quality assurance and quality improvement processes across the pre-employment group.
  • Maintain high accurate and reliable internal assurance and quality monitoring records, including constructive feedback to develop practice and improvement strategies.
  • Work with the quality team on an annual program of quality audits and spot checks with particular focus on observations of teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Implement the teaching, learning, and assessment observation policy and produce smart action plans to support improvements.
  • Conduct observations of teaching, learning, and assessment, including implementation of support to drive outstanding practices.
  • Support all tutors to improve performance on observation grades awarded.
  • Work corporately to develop the quality of provision to the highest standard.
  • Ensure areas of weaknesses and/or inadequacy, as well as quality improvement, are addressed and meet the requirements to be judged at least Good at internal and external inspection.
  • Ensure that equality and diversity is promoted and embedded within the curriculum and that staff feel confident to challenge and develop learners' tolerance to difference.
  • Contribute towards the self-assessment and quality improvement processes across all pre-employment departments and provision.
  • Maintain effective arrangements for the monitoring of safeguarding and wider learning strategies.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience of delivering remote and blended training and support.
  • Experience of working with online resource companies to procure and develop resources.
  • Experience of working within construction trades.
  • Accurate report writing and record-keeping skills.
  • Highly effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Access to a vehicle and a full UK driving license is essential.
  • Flexible approach to travel.
  • Competent computer literacy with all major Microsoft Office packages.
  • Construction qualification (at least Level 2 or above).
  • English & maths qualifications (at Level 2 or above).
