CNC Machining Technician Opportunity

We are a prominent organization focused on precision engineering and gear manufacturing across diverse industries such as Aerospace, Defense, Medical, and Metrology. We are looking for skilled CNC Machining Technicians to take on full-time roles that involve programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes.

Compensation Package:

• Attractive salary range of £35,000 to £40,000
• Standard working hours from Monday to Thursday (07:30 - 16:30) and Friday (07:30 - 13:30)

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathe machinery to manufacture high-precision components
• Implement innovative production methods
• Maintain rigorous quality assurance protocols in line with AS9100:2018 or ISO9001:2008 standards

Candidate Requirements:

• Proficient in interpreting technical engineering drawings
• Familiarity with GD&T principles
• Experienced in utilizing various measuring instruments
• Expertise in CNC programming, particularly with Fanuc, Haas, and Okuma systems
• Background in offline programming techniques

Educational Background:

• BTEC in Engineering or a comparable qualification
• Prior experience as a CNC Setter Programmer and Operator with CAD/CAM skills
• Experience working with a variety of CNC Lathes, including Citizen Sliding Head Lathes, Okuma Lathes, and Haas Lathes
• Demonstrated proficiency in turning operations involving complex processes and advanced materials
