As a Heavy Machinery Operator, you will play a crucial role in the management of materials at a Transfer Station.


Compensation: £31,950, which includes a London Weighting Allowance - £17.

Working Hours:
** 36 hours per week (shift rota)
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Separating and processing recyclable materials such as metals, cardboard, wood, paper, and organic waste.
  • Assisting in HRRC operations by compacting and packaging materials.
  • Operating a variety of vehicles and machinery, including wheeled loading shovels, elevated cab 360s, and roll-on-roll-off lorries.
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations while maintaining cleanliness on site.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, physically fit, and possess experience in roles such as Plant Operator, Heavy Equipment Operator, Recycling Facility Operator, or Waste Management Technician.

Requirements include:

  • Up to two years of experience operating the specified mobile plant (roll-on-roll-off, wheeled loading shovel).
  • A valid driving license.
