We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Children's Nurse to join our team at a private hospital in Horley, Surrey, England.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and passionate Registered Children's Nurse to join our friendly Children and Young People's Department. Our team is dedicated to providing person-centred care and puts our patients at the heart of everything we do.
We offer a range of services and procedures, including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Urology, Bariatrics, and Paediatrics, allowing nurses to develop a variety of skills and expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload
- Deliver care to meet individuals' health and wellbeing needs
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive, or contentious information
- Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others
- Promote best practice in health and safety and security
- Maintain and develop services
- NMC registered with no restrictions or conditions
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK
- At least 1 year of UK experience working on a children's ward
- Child Protection level 3 training
- Paediatric Resus Training
- EPALS or equivalent
- Able to work in teams with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills
