We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to become a part of our vibrant Commercial team at Voyage Care. This team plays a crucial role in ensuring that the financial resources allocated for care packages are sustainable and effectively managed. The team is responsible for evaluating current funding levels while addressing financial challenges, engaging in negotiations with funding bodies nationwide, and ensuring that all approved increases are accurately reflected in our internal billing systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Developing comprehensive costing models and analyses for submission to external funding bodies;
- Collaborating with Regional Managing Directors and their operational teams to provide essential commercial insights and support;
- Interacting with Local Authorities to negotiate and finalize funding increases;
- Coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely updates of billing systems reflecting all inflationary adjustments;
- Identifying and rectifying fee discrepancies in close partnership with the Accounts Receivable team;
- Assisting the Fee Procurement team to meet all necessary deadlines;
- Monitoring and reporting on progress towards departmental objectives;
- Creating weekly and ad hoc reports for distribution across the organization;
- Conducting other financial analyses as needed.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel;
- Preferably AAT qualified or possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in a comparable position;
- Proven track record in financial analysis;
- Methodical problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail;
- Able to independently manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively;
- Flexible team player;
- Driven by targets;
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with strong communication skills across all levels of staff.
