Procurement Role Overview

Employment Solutions is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to maintain a seamless flow of goods into our manufacturing facility, ensuring operational efficiency and meeting customer demands. As a key member of our team, you will balance price, quality, and delivery to secure supplies that drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the supply chain to meet production and customer demand.
  • Purchasing of goods, materials, and services.
  • Utilize ERP & MRP systems to optimize procurement processes.
  • Maintain supplier performance and evaluate areas of improvement.
  • Resolve issues related to price, quality, delivery, and invoices.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Buyer/Purchaser.
  • Strong ERP & MRP systems experience, with Epicor advantageous.
  • Experience within Manufacturing or Engineering.
  • Strong IT skills using MS packages.

Location: Oldham
Contract Type: 6-month PAYE Contract (with strong potential to go Perm)
Pay Rate: £18.75 p/hr PAYE (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full Time - 40hrs, 07:45-16:30 Mon-Thurs, 07:45-12:45 Fri
