About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at BakerHicks. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the development of our existing HR service and its delivery across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of HR on project work as needed, driving a culture of continuous improvement and reviewing existing processes, policies, and ways of working to contribute to a first-class HR service.
  • Attend and lead all casework within your client group, including performance management, absence management, disciplinary and grievance investigations, and other people-related matters.
  • Manage maternity, paternity, shared parental leave, adoption, and other family leave cases within your client group.
  • Review and revise HR processes and policies as required by the Head of HR and business need.
  • Support the Head of HR, Learning & Development Manager, and Recruitment Manager as needed with day-to-day tasks and implementation of projects and initiatives within your client group.
About You

We are looking for an HR professional with a solid understanding of UK employment law and best practice in HR policies and procedures. You should have experience operating in a HR Advisor capacity in a growing business and be able to interpret and manipulate data using Excel.
