- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and ensure our platform aligns with company goals and vision.
- Design and provision effective self-service capabilities for data engineering teams.
- Continuously seek to improve cloud data platform capabilities, innovating to enhance delivery and business value.
- Lead conversations with functional squads on best practices and reusability.
- Experience configuring and deploying enterprise-grade AWS infrastructure.
- Experience managing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
- Strong understanding of cloud-first data platform architecture patterns and associated network fabric options.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and principles, including CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Strong scripting skills with languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, and understanding of security best practices and compliance in cloud environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate between technical and non-technical language.
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality management practices.
