Corporate ECM Lawyer Opportunity

Gambit Search is working with a top international law firm to find a mid/senior level associate to join their corporate team in London.

The focus of this role would be on Equity Capital Markets (ECM), both main market and AIM, as well as broader corporate matters including private & public M&A, joint ventures, and other complex transactions.

To be considered for this opportunity, you should have 5-8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in corporate matters, with extensive expertise in ECM and a strong understanding of complex corporate transactions. Experience working at an international practice and handling domestic and international matters is highly desirable. Sector specialisms such as energy, entertainment, and IT are also highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in ECM transactions, including main market and AIM listings
  • Work on broader corporate matters, including private & public M&A, joint ventures, and other complex transactions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of the corporate team and the firm's overall strategy

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of PQE in corporate matters
  • Extensive expertise in ECM and a strong understanding of complex corporate transactions
  • Experience working at an international practice and handling domestic and international matters
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
