Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy House Manager and Culinary Specialist to join our team at Linc-Cymru. As a key member of our residential care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, while also preparing and serving delicious and nutritious meals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Prepare and serve healthy and nutritious meals, taking into account residents' dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Manage the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Work collaboratively with the house manager and other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are resident-centered and meet their individual needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant qualification in care or a related field.
  • Experience in a residential care setting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of nutrition and dietetics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external agencies.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and support, with a focus on resident-centered practice.
