Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide phlebotomy services to patients in a clinical setting
- Conduct chronic disease monitoring and other delegated tasks as required
- Work closely with General Practice and Community Nursing teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong IT skills and willingness to learn new technologies
- Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development
Working Conditions:
This role requires the ability to travel throughout the area of service delivery. The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
