About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Test Engineer to join our team in the North East region. As a key member of our electrical division, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical testing and remedial works in domestic and communal areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake high-quality electrical repairs, testing, and remedial works as required.
  • Comply with BS7671 standards and company standards of work performance.
  • Ensure implementation and compliance with company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Attend Toolbox Talks and in-house training sessions.
  • Utilize our CRM system and reporting software to accurately record electrical documentation.
  • Carry out electrical condition reporting, repairs, and installations to the highest standards.
  • Liaise with tenants, customers, and members of our supply chain.
  • Maintain van stocks and provide information to improve first-time fixes.

  • A competitive starting salary of £32,240 plus bonus, with an OTE of £55,000 to £60,000.

Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive, diverse, and inclusive attitude to internal and external customers and colleagues.

  • Hold relevant experience and qualifications, including NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation work and City & Guilds Inspection and Testing.
  • Have a good level of computer literacy and a full driving licence held for 12 months.
