Job Title: Aircraft Technical Records Controller

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Aircraft Technical Records Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of technical records related to aircraft flight utilization and technical defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Record Keeping: Daily entry of aircraft flight times, defects, and rectification actions into our digital records system.
  2. Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Liaison and Communication: Liaise with P145 suppliers, maintenance planning, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of maintenance records and resolve any discrepancies.
  4. Document Control: Manage the flow of digital records into the department, ensuring a robust and regulated system of records control.
  5. Reporting: Compile and submit monthly utilization reports for lessors and airlines.
  6. Support: Provide support to the CAMO Subcontractor with records management and respond to their queries.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Educated to A Level.
  2. Skills and Experience:
  • Demonstrable proactive characteristics.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing their own workflow and ability to complete requirements within set timescales.
  • Team player with ability to work using own initiative when necessary.
  • Demonstrable confident and clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interpret OEM and airline technical documentation.
  • Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office applications.

Desirable Skills:

  1. Demonstrable skills on the use of M&E software systems Trax Emro.
  2. Previous experience processing technical data within Pt145 or CAMO environment.
  3. Working with and/or on behalf of third-party customer aircraft.
  4. Experience of working with aircraft types within the West Atlantic UK fleet.
