Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement HR Strategies: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with our overall business strategy.
- Employee Relations: Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Recruitment and Selection: Lead recruitment, end-to-end recruitment and selection process.
- Human Capital Development: Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- HR Systems and Procedures: Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Nurturing a Positive Work Environment: Nurture a positive working environment.
- Performance Appraisal: Work with line managers to create, supervise, and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Training and Development: Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Apprenticeships: First point of contact for all apprenticeships and responsible for managing apprenticeships.
- Pensions: Responsible for the company's pensions.
- HR Documentation: Responsible for drafting, filing, and maintaining all HR documents, including offer letters, contracts, workforce spreadsheets, policies, procedures, letters, etc.
- Handbook Compliance: Ensure that the Company's handbook is legally compliant and up to date.
- HR Metrics: Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- External Relationships: Build strong relationships with external suppliers, fostering trust and promoting collaboration.
- Confidentiality: Handle confidential matters with discretion.
Requirements:
- Experience: Experience in the role, preferably as a HR Generalist, Manager, or Business Partner.
- Certifications: Ideally CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
- Skills: People-oriented and results-driven.
- Apprenticeship Experience: Experience of overseeing apprenticeship schemes.
- HR Knowledge: Knowledge of HR Best Practices and Employment Law.
- Relationship Building: Relationship builder.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Work Arrangements: Comfortable being 4 days office-based/1 day from home.
