Job Title: Principal SoC Architecture and Development Engineer

Arm's Systems Development team is seeking a highly skilled Principal SoC Architecture and Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the specification, design, and verification of various compute subsystems in our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop micro-architecture specifications for complex SoC development
  • Develop RTL and run various design checks
  • Work with the verification team to review test plans and help debug design issues
  • Collaborate with the implementation team to optimize designs
Requirements:
  • Experience with RTL design for complex SoC development using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog
  • Knowledge of static design checks, synthesis, and timing analysis
  • Understanding of power management techniques and power and clock domain crossing
  • Practical experience of working on processor-based system designs
  • Knowledge of shell programming/scripting (e.g. TCL, Perl, Python)
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Arm-based designs and/or Arm System Architectures
  • Experience developing and integrating subsystems for PCIe, UCIe, DDRLPDDRHBM, Ethernet, etc.
  • High-level programming experience in C/C++ and/or assembly language programming
  • Experience in embedded operating systems, device drivers, microprocessor, and embedded system hardware architectures
