Job Summary

PDR Solutions is seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our team in the Foundry department. As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in assisting in the sand-casting process, ensuring the highest quality products are produced.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare aluminium melts for casting
  • Clean and prepare moulds for casting
  • Pour molten metal into moulds (casting)
  • Move moulds following casting
  • Remove ceramic shell from finished cast
  • Report any issues with production machinery to team leaders

Requirements

  • A background in manufacturing, factory, production, or construction
  • A good level of physical coordination
  • A strong work ethic and time keeping skills
  • Physical fitness, as the role entails manual handling and long periods of standing

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
  • Friday: 7:30am - 1:30pm
