Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Education Support Specialist to join our team at Education Ethics Ltd. As a Teaching Assistant - Welsh Language, you will provide valuable support to classroom teachers in delivering lessons in the Welsh language.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to classroom teachers in delivering lessons in the Welsh language.
  • Assist with the preparation of Welsh language resources and materials tailored to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Work closely with small groups or individual students, delivering instruction and support in Welsh.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where the Welsh language and culture are celebrated.
  • Assist in the assessment and monitoring of student progress, providing feedback to teachers in Welsh where necessary.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure the successful integration of Welsh language and culture into the curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Fluent Welsh speaker with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ideally, a minimum of 6 months of experience working in a primary school setting.
  • Passionate about education and supporting the holistic development of young learners.
  • Ability to establish positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and schools.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or Welsh language education are desirable but not essential.
