Lift Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lift Technician to join our team in London and surrounding areas. As a Lift Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our business, assisting other engineers with technical issues, and liaising with manufacturers where necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to the entire business
  • Assist other engineers with technical issues
  • Liaise with manufacturers where necessary
  • Relay technical information to key stakeholders in the business
  • Test lifts for modernisation projects & new installations
  • Attend & rectify breakdowns/faults
  • Generate detailed technical reports
  • Liaise with relevant site personnel to assess lift status & notify/communicate with affected parties
  • Ensure electrical safety of lifts
  • Commission lifts according to agreed specification parameters
  • Take measurements & complete necessary documentation
  • Record abnormalities for corrective action or inclusion in risk assessments
  • Conduct final inspection & sign off on documentation
  • Participate in meetings & work groups related to quality & technical issues
