Are you a seasoned structural engineer with expertise in offshore wind structural engineering? We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Senior/ Principal Structural Engineer Offshore Wind – Primary Steel.

Role

As a Senior/ Principal Structural Engineer Offshore Wind – Primary Steel, you will be responsible for delivering primary steel design work packages for concept, Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and detailed designs in collaboration with other disciplines at a senior level: Tech Leads, Project Managers, Design Managers. You will also be responsible for deep diving into the world of foundations and steel design for offshore wind turbines, from detailed structural calculations, stress analysis, FEA, load modelling, to the comprehensive design of vast offshore foundations.

Essential Requirements:
  • Structural engineering experience within the Offshore Wind sector.
  • Degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience in offshore wind foundation design.
  • Primary Steel Structure design engineering for Offshore Wind.
Desirable Experience:
  • Chartered / Masters/ Relevant PhD an advantage.
  • Loads Analysis eg offshore loading and dynamics of offshore wind turbine foundations.
  • Fatigue, Dynamics, Wind, waves, Vibrations, Non-Linear analyses.
  • Owner's Engineers, Package Manager, Engineering Manager or Contract Manager.
  • Certifications from agencies like DNV-GL, Lloyds Register, Bureau Veritas, etc.
  • Any structural design software e.g.
  • Programming languages, eg Python.
