Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HGV Technician to join our team of professionals dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the performance of our heavy goods vehicle fleet. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults with HGVs
  • Carry out breakdowns and reactive works to high standards and within the given timeframe
  • Accurately document all work completed
  • Communicate technical information to teammates and escalate any issues to relevant managers
  • Demonstrate good diagnostic and fault-finding skills to ensure first-time fix

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution environment
  • NVQ Level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance or equivalent
  • Desirable: HGV Class 1 license
