About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Dyslexia Specialist Teacher to join our team at an Independent Academy in Stratford. The successful candidate will work with pupils aged 3-18, providing expert support and guidance to help them overcome their challenges and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to deliver targeted interventions and support.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to help students with Dyslexia overcome their challenges.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive and supportive learning environment.
  • Provide regular progress updates and feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of Dyslexia and its impact on students.
  • Experience working with students with Dyslexia, ideally in a school setting.
  • A Level 7 SpLD Qualification (or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for improving outcomes for students with Dyslexia and other literacy difficulties.
